Latest Project: Sig 1/4 Scale Clipped Wing Cub

This one is the quarter scale clipped wing Cub from Sig.

I picked up this one that had been started, but never got completed due to the original owner passing away.
For power I'm going to use a Saito 150. She is going to be finished in the color scheme of the Super Decathalon owned by Purdue University.
I have a long way to go with this one, I will try to keep updates posted as I progress.

Here are the basic specs of this one:

Wingspan 86 in 2184 mm
Wing Area 1300 in² 83.8 dm²
Weight 14 - 15 lb 6350 - 6803 g
Length 67 in 1701 m

2012 Purdue University Fly-In

It is that time of year again, the 2012 edition of the Purdue University Fly-In is on the calendar for April 14, 2012. If you enjoy fly-ins and aviation in general try not to miss this one! It is a fundraiser for many student-ran aviation organizations at Purdue University, and serves up an excellent breakfast to boot!

Purdue University Fly-In Breakfast

I've added the Purdue University Fly-In Breakfast to the calendar, this is a nice fly-in with a great breakfast that helps raise funds for the Purdue Aviation Student Organizations. Historically this event has a great turnout, if you enjoy fly-ins and all things associated with them you need to take this one in!
